Elagabalus, 218-222. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 26 mm, 10.07 g, 12 h), Rome, 220. IMP CAES M AVR ANTONINVS PIVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus to right, seen from behind. Rev. P M TR P III COS III P P / S C Elagabalus standing left in slow quadriga, holding eagle-tipped scepter in his right hand and branch in his left; above, eight-pointed star. BMC p. 607 = Cohen 175 = RIC 309. Very rare. Minor flan crack, otherwise, good fine.
